A Need for Inspiration

First, I'd like to welcome you to the baby steps of my starting a law practice.  How you got here?  I don't know.  How I got here?  Well, we'll explore that.  Either way, I thought I'd just say HELLO.

At this point, "overwhelmed" just doesn't fully describe it.  I thought I'd have to start managing my legal practice AFTER I got it running.  Ha!  Fortunately, I didn't have to look far for inspiration.  Which gets me to my point... where is the instruction manual for this crazy thing?!

My father immigrated to the US with $500 in his pocket.  He had a Fred Flintstone car... no, a real Flinstone car with the floor missing and you could watch the road pass under your feet.  Free A/C, woohoo!  Long story short, our family's mom and pop restaurant supported the seven of us for over 30 years.  So where do I look for inspiration?  My living room and my childhood memories.

And the lesson I learn daily: "Overwhelming?"  Yes.  Clouds of uncertainty?  Even more so.  Proudest life achievement?  Be ready to work for it.

So even BEFORE embarking on this "overwhelming" adventure.... I ask you,

Where do you find your inspiration?
